These grants will contribute to the general cost associated with a semester abroad, and will go a big way to making your overseas adventure even more accessible! Aarhus University, School of Business and Social Sciences

Thanks to the generous support of our partner, we have TWO grants available for students to complete a Semester at Aarhus BSS in SP2 2023, while acting as an Ambassador for both UniSA and for Aarhus University. The grants are for 10,000DKK (roughly AUD$2,000), and will be paid to successful students by Aarhus University.

The university is located in Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city, located on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula. In 2017, the city was named the European Capital of Culture. Aarhus BSS is in the top 1% of business schools worldwide, holding the Triple Crown title for receiving accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. One of the largest business schools in Europe, Aarhus BSS offers an internationally oriented suite of programs whilst maintaining a Scandinavian style.

To be eligible for one of the Aarhus BSS Partner Grants, students must:
While only two grants are available in SP2 2023, student may still be awarded an exchange place at Aarhus BSS without a grant allocation.If your application to Aarhus BSS is conditional on receiving the Ambassador Grant, please specifically mention this in your letter of motivation
Successful students will agree to:
  • Post a photo or story on Instagram (or other specified social media) a minimum of twice per month, with the hashtag #unisatudyabroad and tag us @unisastudyoverseas
  • Submit at least five high-resolution photos, including a short description, once a month, which may be published on UniSA’s social media channels or in Study Overseas promotional material. The content should cover the areas of campus life, free time and travel.
  • Upon completion of the semester, write an experience report or submit a three to five-minute video about the stay. The video should not just be a slide show, but should give an impression of studies, campus, student life, leisure time and travel in the form of moving images (this is in addition to the standard returned Student report)

Cheung Kong Exchange Program Mobility Grant
The Destination Australia Cheung Kong Exchange Program is a joint funding initiative of the Australian Government and the Cheung Kong Group. UniSA have THREE $5,500 grants to award to succesful students to undertake their Semester Exchange in SP2 2023 to any of the following institution. You must be eligible to receive at least 13.5 units credit towards your UniSA degree.
Beijing Normal University

Known as one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China, Beijing Normal University (BNU) was founded in 1902 from the Faculty of Education of Capital Metropolitan University. The University initiated teacher training and is the epitome in the development of modern teacher training and higher education in China. 

Founded in 1963, with a mission to combine tradition with modernity to bring together China and the West. The University is ranked 9th in Asia and 46th in the world in the 2020 QS World University Ranking.  CUHK’s School of Management and Economics is AACSB accredited.  
Taylor's University

Established in 1969, Taylor's has gained significant recognition as a leading private education institution.  Taylor’s University retained its position as the top choice among Malaysian private universities by employers in the 2020 QS World University Rankings results which ranked the institution in the top 1 per cent globally. 
Tianjin University

Tianjin University (TJU) was established in 1895 as Peiyang University as the first modern university in China.It has two campuses, one located in Tianjin downtown and the other located in the southern suburb of Tianjin.TJU has a vibrant campus life, with nearly 300 student clubs and societies, and a broad spectrum of sporting facilities.
City University of Hong Kong

Established in 1994 CityU has a well-earned reputation as an innovative hub for research and professional education and for addressing global issues and empowering positive change. The University is ranked 15th in Asia and 52nd in 2020 QS World University Ranking.  
 Situated at the heart of Kowloon peninsula, the CityU campus is well connected to major transportation in Hong Kong.
University of Malaya

The University is internationally recognised as the highest ranked higher education institution in Malaysia. In the 2020 QS World Ranking, the University ranked at 70th in the world, 19th in Asia, 3rd in Southeast Asia. The Faculty of Business is double crowned by AACBS and AMBA.  
UM has also made great strides in institutionalising university-community projects addressing local community needs and societal problems leveraging on technology developed through research and expertise within the campus community for possible solutions. 
Hong Kong Baptist University

Hong Kong Baptist College was founded in 1965 by the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong
HKBU School of Business is amongst the 1% of business schools worldwide accredited by the three leading international accreditation bodies focused on business education, AACSB, Association of MBAs Accredited and EQUIS Accredited.  
To be eligible for the Destination Australia Cheung Kong Exchange Program Mobility Grant you must:
- Meet standard semester exchange criteria outlined here
- Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Gain Academic Unit approval for a minimum of 13.5 units credits towards your degree
