The New Colombo Plan (NCP) is a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo-Pacific in Australia by supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the region.

With the generous support of the NCP, UniSA has received grants to support EIGHT students to undertake semester exchange in SP5 2024 to the following destination:

  • Three students to Hong Kong
  • Three students to South Korea
  • Two students to Singapore

Eligible students will receive a grant of A$7,000 to study at any of the partner institutions listed below. 

NCP Moblity Grant conditions:
  • Grants available are for AU$7,000
  • UniSA standard eligibility criteria apply (please see below)
  • Grants are non-transferable (if your exchange does not go ahead in SP5 2024, you'll need to apply again in future rounds, subject to availability)
  • If demand exceeds availability, grants will be awarded based on academic merit

Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)

CUHK was founded in 1963, with a mission to combine tradition with modernity to bring together China and the West. The University is ranked 9th in Asia and 46th in the world in the 2020 QS World University Ranking.  
 
The main campus commands a panoramic view of the Tolo Harbour and is surrounded by large natural reserves. Buildings on campus features a blend of architectural styles from traditional China to modern western styles.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has topped the rankings for young universities for the fifth straight year. NTU has retained its spot at number 1 in the 2020 QS World Ranking for top 50 universities under 50 years old; ranked for performance of universities focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
